San Salvador
Hot, hot, and a little more hot...
15.03.2010 - 19.03.2010
32 °C
Time just seems to disapear for me at the beach, almost like when I was little and my parents had to drag me away at the end of the day exhausted and sandy! Everyday but Wednesday I spent the day at the beach which is when I headed to San Salvador to check out the capital. I had heard mixed reviews about it and wanted to check it out for myself. I did not think there was much character overall besides the hot, sweaty, dirty streets only the cat calls out numbered the amount the drops of sweat pouring from my body. Maybe if I had been with someone else it would have been different but by the end of the day I was completely over the excessive attention, but so it goes. I did do a bit of shopping 3 pairs of flipflops for $3 USD...not too shabby! Finished the day with a few beers to celebrate St. Patty.
Today I am on the road again my time at the beach has come to an end and parting with El Tunco is hard! Heading back up north. When I am lucky I make the night bus...and when I am not there is always tomorrow
fingers crossed for swift boarder crossings!
